Not interesting if what one believes is the best leather product etc.

My question is simple, has any used Scotchguard for Leather on their vehicles LEATHER seats? If yes I would appreciate some feedback on results.

thanks

You're talking about using the shoe product on a car's leather seats? I'm fairly certain you'll ruin them. That stuff is designed to PREVENT leather from breathing (which makes water bead off).

Best way to keep leather seats protected is regular cleaning & conditioning.

reason I ask is that I had to have the seat professionally detailed by leather restorer due to my belt leather rubbing against the seat and transferring black crud on to the seat. Normal leather seat cleaners etc were useless in trying to remove it.

the leather restore shop did a great job and he suggested the Scotchguard forleather to prevent further recurrence. Very light tan leather seat.
