Don’t know why is sideways. This is a new truck with 12,500 miles and oil was in use for 5,000. OLM is at 55% and oil was not changed. Will probably change and sample at 15,000 vehicle miles which is 7,500 on the oil.

This makes me smile. I too will be going to the 7000 5w30 in a 2020 F250 with a 6.2. I plan to stick to the severe service schedule and change at 5k due to lots of towing in the summer.

Some people will tell you Schaeffer's 7000 is the only Blend being sold as a Blend in the USA.

25% PAO + Group II+ may have a higher natural VI than some Group III Synthetics. I can name one 5W-30 that I know is only around 125 VI for the basestock.

You need not worry about the 6.2 OHC. Feed it any viscosity from 5W20 to 15W40 with 7500 mi OCI and it will survive just fine.
