Anyone here beside me like sardines? Grandpa on dads side loved blind robins and kipper snacks. I tried them but didn’t care for them. I put sardines in a salad or even in scrambled eggs once in a while.
Sounds good, I might have to try that.I made a good Sardine and Herb Bruschetta the other night.
In cans they are cooked, but you can get them fresh or frozen. For a simple lunch at home I like a can of sardines in water, put on top of some mashed potatoes heated up.Are sardines cooked or raw? I never had any.
Possibly; anchovies too. I don't mind the odd anchovy on pizza, but there can't be cheese on it at that time, sauce only.I wonder if sardines are an "older" generation thing (no offense meant). Like what is the average age of someone that eats sardines? I imagine it becomes less and less common every year but that's just my theory.
