Best time for tire sales? Want to replace before mid fall season.

Usually Memorial and Labor Day as well as Black Friday are the big tire sales events.
I've noticed good sales from Americas Tire/Discount Tire on 4th of July & Labor Day. I honestly don't know about other tire stores. If you want to stretch your current tires as long as possible (who doesn't), then Labor Day is when I'd wait to pull the trigger on a new set (if you want to buy from AT). If tread life/traction says that's too long, then I'd wait till 4th of July.
On the other hand, they do have discounts for individual tire companies throughout the year. You just have to go to their website and see what sales they are advertising. I was planning on buying some new tires for my Sienna on a President's Day sale, but the ones I was looking at were on sale before then, so I jumped on it when they went on sale in late Jan/early Feb.
