While I was getting the CP4 pump replaced the mechanic noticed he could not get the 4WD to work.

He found the rubber vacuum line used to engage the front 4WD had softened from rustproofing being sprayed on it. Not a big deal, a $10 fix

The pickup has been sprayed with both CarWell and NH Coatings products. Not a reason to not get rustproofing sprayed, just something to keep your eye on

Good to know. I’ve been leery of NH Oil, just looks like it might be more petroleum based.

I am thinking most of the creeping rust proofing will do this.
Not sure if Fluid Film is as bad. Not sure about RP342, maybe that will, before the solvents evaporate off? but that doesn’t creep, so your point still stands.

Can that go on top of the other rust prevention spray?
as long as they are similar(petrol based etc?) I think it would be ok.
Not sure I would krown or noxudol on top of other types such as FF or cavity wax...

I washed all the NH oil off before applying noxudol 300 and 700. The noxudol dries to more of an active wax coating . It would not stick to already oiled surface.

On the Noxudol it says if your new car was rust proofed by the dealer you should wait a year before applying Noxudol.
That’s to give it time for the old coating to come off on its own. I washed it off with degreaser and blow dried everything

Does the Noxudol creep like many rust proof sprays. I know CarWell and NH Coatings creep.
The 700 creeps longer than the 300. They both eventually dry to a very soft wax. The 700 is softer and meant for low splash areas. The 300 is high spray areas. It’s all still there with more or less zero touch ups after 2+ years
