Reverse Osmosis Water Question

I’ve always found it unfortunate that reverse osmosis didn’t send its waste to a toilet or something
it would be pretty easy to divert it to a rain barrel for watering.
but keep this in perspective.. if you use a permeate pump its locked to 1:1 losses.
so if you drink a gallon a day its less waste than flushing your toilet once.

A permeate pump is an neat hydraulic powered pump self contained and needs no electricity.

I typically waste less water from my RO system than anything else.
washing hands, 1 5 min shower, couple toilet flushes.. etc.

you could always capture it to a 5gallon bucket too.. but it might get messy if you forgot about it.
