This is awesome to know about, I love physics and chemistry. But real-world application, not so sure. Maybe a few real gearheads or OCD types. Certainly not me. I burn my gas quickly enough that ethanol separation does not cause an issue, also my vehicles are designed to run E10 (minimum 87 octane).
