Reliable trail camera brand recommendations?

I've had 2 trail cameras before, 1 Chinesium brand from Amazon and another name brand which I do not remember, bought from a sporting goods store. Both did recorded OK for a while but then became unreliable and turned on / off randomly with the seals going bad. Water got into the battery compartments and damaged the batteries and the electronics.

What is the Cadillac of trail cameras? I need something that will hold up to the elements and not fail. It'll be attached to a tree, so not directly in the open.
