Well another realtor story and I have several thoughts on this one.....
I toured a builders model home and talked to the general manager. Straight up business and no small talk.
The next day I get called by an associate which is really a realtor for the builder. He wants to meet me at the model home....
Older gent and again straight up house talk. He offers me a to be built house where the buyers bailed from the contract which he gives me a copy of the contract and offers me a cash incentive which was great.
The few upgrades I get are kitchen and bath related and of course the flooring, wall colors and exterior choices.
I'm ready to go and we strike a deal and no contract yet as he has to finalize the options and pricing and at this point it's just like the original contract with exception only to colors and not a big deal he says.
Later he calls me and claims he had a very slight delay dialing in the flooring but it will be a day or two.
So he stalls and bit and doesn't return calls or texts...he shows up 3 days later trying to sell me the same house that was supposed to be their new model home but now they want to sell it. That home is completed and I toured it earlier..
I tell him I don't like that neighborhood and the house is sandwiched between two roads so im not interested in the already built one.
Okay he says and he ghosts me and no contact at all...
Still nothing , very childish for a senior citizen aged guy.
I have several thoughts on this.
When he tried to switch me over to the built house he either sold the other or the original buyers decided to go through with it...
When he offered the to be built house he claimed I was the first he offered it to.
Seriously in the past I would torch this guy and he has a very active YT channel.... right now the clown is dead to me...
My friend in the area said give him time lol.... she calls him and he picks right up...neat huh...

Seriously i think you are right.
On the walk through i mentioned some code issues and the realtor said I'll have to look into that.
I think they wanted someone to resume the order as contracted prior. No changes.
My friend said they seem to want only to sell.turnkey homes maybe to avoid private detailed inspections...thanks
