I have always sensed that James Clerk Maxwell was on the right track when he discovered and derived static and dynamic electromagnetic fields to unlock and quantify the nature of electromagnetism. Those that came after him, such as Einstein and Bohr, extended field theory to include other areas of inquiry.
I.e., I have always felt that in most areas of physics, field theories explained nature more fully than did particle theories. Time 40:50 and later gets into the interesting stuff such as the Standard Model of Physics.
Now this was made before the JWST was put into orbit so I think the Dark Matter part of the discussion may be questionable.
