Push mower on hill, am I stuck with Lawn Boy?

Hey guys, anyone out there know if the top bearing in an "F" style engined lawnboy is replaceable? I have a self-propelled Lawnboy I bought back in the 70's and the top bearing is shot. I was told by the guy that sells them in my small town that the top bearing is not replaceable. I havent torn into it to see how it is built but it was my favorite mower and I it still ran when I noticed the fan was wobbling at start-up. Thanks!

If its like the new style engines it is. The crank bearings on a LB are standard, ball type bearings.

Yes, it's replacable. May as well rebuild engine while you're in there.
