PS Flare Nut

I have a 2003 Honda Pilot and I am having difficulty getting the flare nut on the new high pressure line threaded into the PS rack. The line is only accessible from the top of the engine. I can eyeball lining it up properly but have to lie on my stomach and reach down blindly to try to get it started. It is not a great design. Guys on Honda forums say they had this problem too and it took them hours to get it threaded.

Any suggestions or tricks you know of to get it started?

Spin the nut counterclockwise while pushing it down until you feel it "drop" into the beginning of the thread, then turn clockwise to engage it.

If you can get both hands in, push the tube's flair solid against the mating surface to help get the nut aligned square.
Then use @CarDoc66 's suggestion as you hold with one hand. turn with the other.
