There's a demonstration against Brexit being organised in Manchester. I'm pondering whether I ought to go. Part of me thinks I ought to attend given that Brexit is probably the stupidest act of national self-harm we have embarked on since Suez. I don't give a stuff that democratically 'they won'. A 51.8 to 48.2 result, is a mandate to leave things exactly as they are because there's no agreed way forward. It's not a mandate to create chaos which will take decades to resolve. However I suspect it will get very ugly because our right wing Brexit believers have always thought that political discourse starts and ends will giving someone a good kicking.
Guess I'm going to have to decide how brave I am. If I do go, I've definitely going to give 'the Crown Jewels' some protective padding to avoid the fate of the guy in the clip!
So do you only have an issue with Democracy when you don't get what you want?
The EU is a development of Nazi economic planning for a post WW2 Europe after they expected to win.
It is not in the interest of the UK.
The EU and Politicians have been pretty successful in brain washing millions in the UK that the EU is beneficial to the average Britain.
You have to ask where the average failed UK Politician goes after Westminster?
Oh thats right, they head the corrupt EU.
Consider Neil Kinnock.
Consider an unelected and unaccountable organisation having more power than the democratically elected Government of a Country.
And pleass tell me when the EUs Accounts were last signed off?
Actually thats a trick question, they have never been signed off.
