Protec WIX PXL57502 cut open 1,100 miles 6 months

Protec WIX PXL57502 cut open only 1100 miles of use but 6 months of short trips. Engine had STP high mileage 5W20 with a generous amount of MMO in it that I wanted to get out. The engine oil was really dirty compared to usual and I also ran a bottle of Redline SL1 in the fuel back in July and the oil turned color really fast after that. Ignore any damage to the filter element my filter pliers crushed the filter can pretty good and I had to pry the element out. Looks just fine to me, this is one of the newer made in Mexico filters. Replaced with same filter and Milesyn SB 5W30

Wow, M&H Wix type jobber with a silicone adbv, nice. Not particularly enamored with the coo, but looks like it got the job done.

Yeah, the last 12 pack of the 51515 Protec Wix sized filters I bought also have the silicone adbv as well, I should be able to cut one of those open in the next several months I haven't cut one of those apart yet.
