I finally bite the bullet today ---bringing in my fit to get a set of Hankook 4S to replace my already worn factory OE Dunlop SP37a/s (already dun for).
I'm usually leary about winter conditions here in PNW but sometimes, when things hit hard, a/s tires cannot do the job at all (all the curb hitting, slipping and sliding along the inclines, etc.) While I'm aware that these Hankooks may not be on par with true winter tires such as blizzaks or Toyo Observe, nevertheless: it's still better than my old Michelins P-metric I used to run on 323.
Wifey's car will be swapped with the usual set of winter 4s: mortarmeister's ole winter tire...they are fairly worn now so I'll be anticipating a new replacement set for next year, possibly either Marshal (by Kumho) or Hankook i-pike or similar (summer tires are still the Bridgestone Turanza serenity).
