2022 Toyota battery gave up the ghost seems like 122F was enough. Looking to replace with a Duralast Elite with 5 year warranty hopefully it dies in warranty period going forward most only go 2to3 years. Anyone with experience with what is best in extreme heat I believe this is best option minus the upfront cost.

Try to find a higher quality tiered AGM with a longer warranty? 5 years is still good though like you mentioned.
When I was working, and parking my vehicles in a hot, non cooled garage, I would average 2 Summers on most any battery. Regardless of brand or type. Now my garage is evaporator cooled, and I keep all my vehicles on smart battery maintainers, and I'm getting as long as 4 Summers. Also, I'm driving a lot less since I retired as well.
I also have fans in front of the grilles, that I run on a timer, for a good half an hour when I get back, That, along with the evap cooling really gets rid of under the hood heat.... Doing whatever you can to dissipate heat will serve longevity much better than battery type, size, or length of warranty.

Walmart AGM $179.0 for a 4 year warranty full replacement AZ Duralast 5 years but $275.0. Walmart might be better bet.
I noticed this myself as well. My Jeep Grand Cherokee takes an H7 series AGM. $179.00 at Walmart. The last one I bought at Autozone and it was well into the $200.00 range.

Another positive about Walmart, is they have a very high turnover for batteries. So it better assures you'll get a fresh one.

I checked the supply of H7 AGM batteries, that my local Walmart had on hand last week. There were at least a half dozen of them, all dated "8/25". This time of year out here is when they move the most batteries. (The dead of Summer).
Once buying a new battery, wouldn't battery insulation, like the "Design Engineering Cell Saver Battery Insulation Kit" be a good idea?

We have the same problem here in FL. Lead acid batteries fail fast. LiFEPO4 replacement alternatives seem to hold up much longer. But still a good idea to keep them from getting too hot.

I put that in my Jeep when I pulled that lawn mower battery out …

I stated this somewhere before...... I use the mylar bubble wrap insulation. It can be cut to make a battery blanket. I dit it on my mom's Caravan, and my Daughter's Ford Edge that the dealer threw away the factory shield. I also used it to shroud a smoker years ago to retain heat when smoking some salmon.

I have been doing the AGM thing again in recent years. Got burned trying the Optima Red tops 20+ yrs ago. I am going to get an AGM from wally world on my older F150 within the next year.
Kind of expensive mylar bubble wrap in this link. When I bought some years ago it was fairly cheap. Probably can get a smaller amount for less?

Another thing I have read about, and am considering doing, is taking off those stupid plastic engine bonnets on my Jeep and Toyota. All those things do is trap heat, and hold it close to the engine.... That, and get in the way of most any repair or maintenance you try to perform on the vehicle.
I agree. Most of the time the covers offer only a very small noise reduction benefit. But completely prevent casual inspection
