Pet peeves go in this post.

People who leave positive reviews online for products they haven't even received yet.

People who leave negative reviews for items that were used incorrectly, or their expectations were obviously way too high.

People who put both month or year registration stickers on the same license plate. Really? Does that look right to you?

Oblivious people. Older women in particular. The behavior does not bother me at any personal level, so maybe not a peeve it’s more like I’m scared for these people. As in wake up, you are easy to spot.

Maybe it’s all a fake persons but what could be the purpose?? I see it airports quite often.

People who are well-past the rookie stage making rookie mistakes. I can micro-manage you (which neither of us wants) but that just makes more work for me.

Early retirement is looking more and more appealing...I don't know how my boss hung in until she was 70.

...Interior doors and drawers that aren't fully closed...
I worked a place where the safety manual specified that all file cabinet drawers were to be closed immediately after use, and failing to do so could get one written-up for a policy violation.

Today's pet peeve from me, just finished a meeting where people are complaining that the changes that they requested, *despite* me telling them that it's going to do exactly what they're complaining about now, and not being able to say "I told you so...".

I remembered another pet peeve of mine. THIS!

People being too dumb for their own good----and I'm the jerk for not feeling excruciatingly bad about it, lmao.

No one deserves to suffer, be dead, poor, etc....for their own misdeeds....but it is what it is.

one example...

apparently this guy won a prize from the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes, $250,000 for "life". 13 years of steady checks, then PCH goes bankrupt. Guy will lose his house cuz I guess he didn't save a dime?

now get off my lawn!

I am not sure what you are suggesting as your pet peeve in the photo. Is it the dubious ownership of an reputedly unreliable Land Rover?

That LR Discovery is clearly parked correctly (i.e., centered between the two yellow lines). The gray line the vehicle is straddling has been painted over with dark gray paint when the parking spaces were realigned.

It’s the uncentered licence plate that drives me crazy 😵‍💫

Daily drama
A one man shop which is me.
You place an order and only after you receive notice that the package has shipped do you want to change the order...
Trust me it's daily....
The website tells you all of this upfront...

When companies change or discontinue a product without letting people know. And when you contact them about it they send a generic response back. Had I known in 2022 that my beloved Speed Stick Musk deodorant that I had used since I was 7 years old would be discontinued at the end of that year I’d of bought every bit of it I could find but now I just have 2 sticks that remain and the past 3 years I’ve been trying to find another perfect deodorant for me. So I have about 22 deodorant sticks in line to try till I find something. Same thing happened to my brother in law he used Old Spice Pure Sport for years then in 2015 they changed the formula and the smell was awful because of the change and still is so he had to find something else too. I hate companies that ruin things for the consumer.
My favorite razor blade was discontinued several years ago. Once I realized that, I scoured the internet and ordered enough (from wherever I could find them) to last me for about 15 more years. :)

I'm glad to see you realize what's really important in life...

Those tiny plastic wire price tag/hanging label piece, one straight anchor side in the clothing the other in the paper tag.

Either armpit or crotch. If you don't catch that inside piece when cutting.....you'll pay later.
Even better, when you find that inside piece, it managed to embed itself into the material so you wind up affecting some of the stitching when maneuvering it into position to remove it.

I've become convinced that somehow they manage to sew the end of the plastic piece into the hem, meaning it can't ever be fully removed without cutting some fabric or some thread. There will be a tiny sharp piece of plastic sticking out the other side forever.

The quality of factory paint really bugs me. Until we bought a 2025 vehicle, I had no idea this has been going on for 10 years at least. All these cars that I thought were in accidents and repaired? That's modern factory paint. Many brands. Lexus. Toyota. GM. Honda. Hyundai. These I've seen with my own eyes. I haven't seen BMW and MB, but the web says bad. Just what the heck is going on, has this world simply gone mad and wild? For what a new vehicle costs today, that's the paint job they get? What's the reason? Thin water based? Rush to cure? What?! No joke, I'm glad I still have a 2006 and 2007, their paint is very good.
