Pet peeves go in this post.

Thanking me in advance before I've decided to help you in emails/online.

Giving me permission to delete posts in groups/forums that I mod "please delete if not allowed".

Not using turn signals.

Speeding in neighborhoods.

People with high-powered/fast cars on track that won't give point-bys (or won't lift when they give them allowing a pass) and then drag race you on every straight only to be caught at the turns.

All the curmudgeons in this thread.

Get off my lawn.
Can move this to humor section?

People who can't seem to form a line, be it on foot or in a vehicle, then wait in said line. It's not hard, but apparently for some people it is.

People with no spatial awareness who don't seem to notice when they are in the way, or worse, simply don't care.

People who are distracted and don't pay attention but get all mad when you call them out on it.
Aargh, I just jinxed myself! 🤬

At Potbelly for lunch and there's almost no line. The one guy who's there is not moving up when the line does, is playing with his phone, and once he finally realizes he's next to order, THAT'S when he looks up at the menu board and tries to figure out what he wants to eat.

When I see that in the Facebook groups that I moderate, 9 times out of 10 it’s gonna get deleted by me 😆

Behavior like that betrays the lack of a presence of mind, and situational awareness, never mind any sort of consideration for others.

Those who live inside device bubbles are common, but it takes other forms, like clogging store aisles by leaving carts wherever it strikes them, blocking traffic and access, side-dragging carts and acting like a double-wide, instead of pushing them like a normal person would.

Then there are the mo's who park right next to you, when you've purposely parked out in BFE and away from everyone else to avoid door dingers.

In my form of hell, there's a special place reserved for both.

I'm not talking a "Wipe" or a small sniffle, but a full blown trombone sounding Blow.
I'm trying to eat here...!

I worked with a kid who blew his nose so loud that you could hear him doing it in the bathroom behind the closed door 20 yards away 😳 Sounded like a trombone for sure 😆

People who make a mess in movie theaters and leave it behind for others to clean up.

This actually goes for making a mess anywhere but people in theaters seem to go out of their way to do it, like it's all part of the experience or something.
Littering is disgusting behavior. It isn’t even just a pet peeve for me, it quite literally changes how I perceive that person. Probably the absolute worst is the dirty diaper dropped right on the pavement of a parking lot. Just dropping a sack of human feces right where you stand like an animal - reprehensible.

People who don't understand right-of-way.

People who mess up the flow by giving away their right-of-way.

People who give a thankful wave when you 'let them go first' when in reality they had the right-of-way and it was their turn to go.

So, airports.

Bringing your dog everywhere/in stores restaurants/breweries/etc.

At breweries the kids everywhere. It's basically a bar.

More get off my lawn energy from TiGeo.

No problem with places that are dog-friendly, and state that upfront.

But people who bring their pets to places where they are not permitted, including by law for hygienic reasons…and the employees who let them skate because retail workers are now trained to be meek, avoid conflict, and not enforce their own rules…that's a different story.

Driving through Virginia, I saw a guy wearing a racing helmet shaking his fist at the sky! One fist had the middle finger sticking out! Was that you?!
