Yeah, we used to run 20W-50 year round back in the 80's. Hondas, Detroit iron, everything. Engines lasted forever. Back then, thin oils weren't that great. We thought 5w30 was water.

Thanks. Thin oil for my drag cars, Thick for the road race cars, and cheap for the commuters.



Lol... The most I've done is 15W40 in a gas engine!
