In the past, I got in trouble for posting a link to any other site. Have the rules changed?

Dock,

One of the things that we determined is that BITOG is a good source of information. But when someone would post about a product and no one could find that product it was hard to discuss. So I encourage links to product sites and to auto sites. This allows our members to make better use of their time spent looking for good information. (We do not accept direct links to Sales/Price pages of a product.)

This has seemed to work very well this past year and I do not see any reason to change from our present course. From a purely personal stand point, I think the level of intelligent product discussion on this board has increased with this policy. Many members posting on the board now, amaze me with the wealth of knowledge that they possess and are willing to share. JMO
