So kids are walking through, trying to sell product/solicit donations to a captive audience that are supposed to doing their job, and who might feel compelled to buy/contribute something, lest it reflect poorly on them with fellow co-coworkers? That wouldn't fly in any business I owned.
Maybe something set up in a break room, where people could buy/contribute to whatever if they want to on their own time. Even that would be on a trial basis, to see if interfered with work or sowed discourse.
