Old Hitachi TV With Firestick

This thing is about 20 years old.
Never got much use. Hate to throw it out so I now use it.

This happened yesterday.. I was on the Prime home sceen and this promo appeared and I turned off the TV and it stayed on the screen as shown for just over 20 minutes.
I even turned off the surge protector strip and it still stayed on the screen.

Never seen this before. While on Prime this picture was only a third of this size at the top of the screen.

On older TV's the instant on feature leaves some filament voltage on the CRT. If the high voltage to the crt remains statically charged it can cause the last image to remain. The deflection circuits are not working though so it is just a left over image.
