Change the oil with some quality 0/5W-40 and see if that helps. If not then check the oil pressure sending switch.

Your owner's manual should call for 5W-40 in the 1.4T motor.

Spec for that engine is 5W-40.

A newer, modern four-cylinder engine that has oil pressure problems
typically means it’s in the final hours of its useful life
Not always. When my brother's '85 Jetta was fairly new, the oil light flickered occasionally. The dealer claimed that was merely quirk of the instrument-panel electronics, nothing to worry about. It got worse and worse, until finally they bothered to check the pressure with a gauge. The pressure was indeed very low, like 4 psi. By then the warranty had expired. VW paid for a new oil pump, but made him pay for dealer labor to install it, although he'd complained repeatedly during the warranty period. It ran about a quarter of a million more miles without further oil-related issues (other than a chronic leak caused by the same dealership).

Put a gauge to it. Cold idle after starting is at 30 psi. Let it run 5-10 minutes. Then at 2,000 rpm it was 12-15 psi and at idle, nothing. Lets try 20W50 and see what happens.

I wouldn't drive it until you get it fixed. 20-50 is a band aid and you will eventually trash the engine if you drive it.
