Oil filter worked loose

Wow, I've used Denso filters almost exclusively for the life of both my Toyota vehicles, and I've changed oil both in the depths of Wisconsin winters and the heat of summer. I've never had one leak nor come loose as far as I know, definitely not to the point of requiring a half turn to re-tighten. That's something.

What brand of filters do you use on the Honda and BMW?

For the BMW I use whatever I get at the BMW dealer, it has always been a Hengst. And for the Accord I use the OEM A01, I bought a bunch from H and A Honda a while back.
