I was at my local Walmart on Thursday night and I noticed they removed all the Chevron Supreme oil and expanded the display of Havoline. The Chevron was 1.08 and most recently 1.14 per quart. The Havoline was $1.22 and it is now $1.16 per quart. I'm glad they still have the Havoline.

There are so many new oils hitting the shelves they are running out of space!!!

This is to be expected at stores like WM. They buy on opportunity. Once something sells out, it may not appear again. Its the dept. manager decision on what to stock on shelves and if its not a big seller, forget about it.

Sadly this happened at our local Walmart also, and a brand new store that opened two months ago. Plenty of space for Havoline however but no 5 qts jugs of SuperTech Synthetic.

It's the same story at my WalMart, Chevron is non-existant. They do have a nice supply of Mobil 1 though, which they reduced the price to $3.88 quart. Castrol products seem to be big at WalMart's as well. The price of Pennzoil went up, it's pushing $2.00 quart now.

ssmokn, according to what a lot of people here have found out, Halvoline is apparently the same oil as Chevron, or if not exactly the same then very close. You might check and see if their are any Chevron distributors in your area, also. I discovered one in my area. Up until that time, I could find Chevron only at checker Auto Parts Stores. I don't think I have ever seen it at the Wal-Mart Stores in my area.

I wish they sold the 5qt jugs of supertech syn. here!!!!

I hate paying $2.50+ a quart.
