Got a new Microsoft update last night and my system now has the response of a slug. Anyone else having this issue?

My Outlook fat client is a steaming pile of crap after this latest update. I use the web version for the most part, but I need certain things on the fat client and it's baaaaad now.

Was that Windows 11. I have a update waiting, think I'll wait a few days.
I'm using 11 and it's plenty speedy.
Maybe OP has borderline resources, because yes Windows is a hog and Bill is expletive deleted.
Win11 seems to go back and forth for me. Last month or so I've noticed that the icon pictures in the task bar sometimes get screwed up and show the wrong image--makes me think an program died, but it hasn't, it just isn't showing the right image.
Otherwise, programs randomly close. More instability in file explorer. Search in Outlook is finally getting better... but it's not as good as it used to be.
At least I'm getting paid to use this, and when it breaks, off to IT it goes. For home I went Linux as I didn't want to buy a new machine so as to run 11. I couldn't bear the thought of having to do IT stuff at home, I prefer plug and play.
