On my wife's TL, I did double the recommended transmission fluid changes at the dealership, just to ensure there was no wriggle room for Acura on the 7 year extended warranty they offered on the transmission.
First time I've heard of this. I'll keep an eye on the transmission fluids. I have a 6MT and recently replaced the transmission fluid with GM Synchomesh (for the 2nd time).
