That's an interesting one for sure. I had that happen on a ~9hp Tecumseh flat head snow blower engine once. The little coil that powered the headlight broke free, jammed under the flywheel and punched a hole high up in the block. We JB welded the hole and deleted the coil. That machine still blows snow.
