I was today. My first order of Amsoil arrived. I chose their 5w40 European full saps offering for my wife's Nissan Maxima with the VQ35DE. I'm looking forward to seeing how it does. I chose it in lieu of M1 0w40 because it was less expensive. However, after tax and shipping...it wasn't

. Oh well, I'm going to try both of them and see how they both do. There was something fun about have the box waiting for me. Now I just need to decide on the filter.

Hmmm...my annual electric bill for a 1530 sq ft all electric home in a moderate climate is $3,170 per year. Compare that to your total combined electric/oil expense.

Have you considered alternatives? Wood pellets for my 1600 sq. ft. home will run me $900 for the season, plus about $200 in propane. I'm in the coldest part of the state, so use that for comparison.

I know...I know. Thats why I said tax and shipping. I probably should've said the shipping made it cost more. We're only talking about $4.00 though. Trust me, I'm a happy guy. I would've bought a Ea15k filter too but I'm only going to run the oil 10k miles this time. Kinda felt like a waste since the filter will go longer.

I'm lucky to have found a NAPA store in my area that carries it on the shelf. BIG display also, they have all the ATF, XL line, OE line and SS.

Nice! The lube shop by my house sells it but they charge full price. I think I'm saving money with the pc benefit and paying the shipping. Not much but a little.

My average electric and gas bill is around $800-1000 a year for 2800 sq ft home. In winter months, monthly average is about $90-100 then drop to about $60 for the rest of the year. The extra cost of $30-40 a month is for heating the house.
