Need help with rear wheel hub; bolt snapped

If you know the pinout at the ABS computer you can check the sensor with a voltmeter set on AC and spinning the wheel while the voltmeter is on the sensors two pins. If all is OK you will get a voltage meter. Spin the other side to see if they are close. Front may be different than the rear. Unless it is a three wire sensor.


I suck when it comes to electrical stuff. What do you mean by pinout at the ABS computer?

Here is what I pulled from a repair manual for my car. This is what it says for inspecting the sensors:

1.
Measure the output voltage between the terminal of the wheel speed sensor and the body ground.

In order to protect the wheel speed sensor, when measuring output voltage, a 75Ω resistor must be used as shown.

2.
Compare the change of the output voltage of the wheel speed sensor to the normal change of the output voltage as shown below.

A.
V_low : 0.44 V ~ 0.63 V
B.
V_high : 0.885 V ~ 1.26 V
C.
Frequency range : 1~2,500 Hz
