HP is king.
On sandy climbs, the spinning tires create thrust by displacing the sand. The higher the HP, the higher the thrust, and the more likely the bike will make it to the top.
Looping out on a steep climb isn't my idea of fun either... With my little long track snowmobiles it is kind of fun as they don't have the grip/hp to loop out but you can balance them on the track only and just steer with shifting your weight around, but that same hill I'd never try on my ATV or dirtbike.
