Motor Oil Prices

Has anyone else noticed every Motor Oil out there has gone up significantly except for Royal Purple.

Where you been. Everything at Walmart / Amazon / retail whatever is up 15-20%. Oil is no different.

It was originally $31 @ WM, they simply priced in the 20% increase a bit early.

If RP hasn’t increased their prices again, they’ve found somewhere else to shave the 20% off their cost, they’re not going to lose ground to competitors no matter what you think about their price.

Maybe there's was 20% too high before. Perhaps they have figured out no one will pay $40.00. Perhaps they haven't done a price increase yet - they tend to come at intervals - like it went up 2 bucks, then 6 months later an other 2 - etc.

Maybe we all should stock up on royal purple? Sell it on ebay in a few months for a profit?

Good question…perhaps they had a lot of margin between the schlock components they’re buying and what they’re putting on the shelves.…
