FS 0W40 and FS X2 5W50 are both 1.34% SAPS according to XOM's website.
15W50 is 1.21% and doesn't get the FS.
The rest of the base M1 line are 0.80-.85% SAPS.
I think this makes sense, just wonder about the 15W50...maybe it is just shy of being considered full SAPS?

I said that in the other thread, except just Shell. FS is, I think, an international oil, so it goes beyond SOPUS, and to Shell in general.

That's probably the most reasonable guess, aside from my silly wisecracks.

Actually I think on paper it has awesome additive package for gasoline and diesel vehicles requiring a full saps oil. Also think from safety data sheet they use 10-20 pao and 40-70 percent had to liquid synthetic oils which seems like cool Basestock mix. I have used it in my older 1993 Mercedes 300d with no problem.
