Mitsubishi MZ690116 cut open

2017 Lancer 2.4l on for 6~months, 3k~ miles. Used with 0W-20 Total Quartz 9000.

PH2867XL & Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 went back in.

Looks very similar to the Toyota Thai Denso oil filter. Been a while, but member on the Mitsu/Evo forum did some efficiency testing on the Mitsu using same procedure as a member here followed. Result was pretty much in line with what's known about Asian filter efficiency, that is they don't put an emphasis on it.

Made in Thailand, was on a 2.4L Lancer for 4,213 miles/8 months, installed with dealer oil change using Eneos 0W-20. Car is currently at 7,342 running OEM oil filter and Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20. Filter price is $5.18. From what I can tell most aftermarket oil filters for this car. except for...

That is a Denso oil filter. Been using them for years.
