Hi All,
Great forum, I've lurked for awhile but just now joined up.
I've been using Lucas Marine grease as my go-to for years. I use it in everything from my Volvo boat outdrive, Craftsman riding lawn mower spindles, Dexter EZ-lube trailer wheel bearings, to my New Holland tractor backhoe pins, etc. I went to grab a new tube today and noticed that is was now an OBCS (Overbased Calcium Sulfonate) rather than the lithium-complex I've been used to using. I'm worried because the 4 ball wear and the timken load lb ratings have gone down. Will it be okay for the shock loads in the backhoe pins and boat outdrive anymore?
So should I use the new formula or should I look into a different grease? Or am I overthinking it? I'd really like to continue using just one grease for everything.

Thank you.
