Looks like I'm moving back to shelf oil

Als, here in the states, some of the locally owned parts stores carry Amsoil on the shelf. My local NAPA stocks some.
Just trying to give you some ideas, hate to see you stop using the brand over a shipping issue.
In the US, we have to place a $100 order to get free shipping, which would be pretty close to $130 Canadian.
I as a dealer have to do a $300+ order to get free shipping!

Yes my local NAPA carries Amsoil as well. So last month when I changed my gear oil in the Corolla's 5 speed I used this.

Was outside wrenching all day. Had lots of fluids to change on the family vehicles now that my dad isn't well and one family vehicle I had to change the transmission solenoid pack on. (OOW) After I was finished I needed to do a re-learn on the vehicle with the transmission issue and I wanted to test drive it to make sure it was functioning properly, so I took the time to go to my local PartSource, CTC, and Walmart and again even though there were oil's on sale. Only the 10w30 was left or they were sold out completely.

Looks like this is going to be more of a challenge than I thought to get on sale oil and try to stick to one brand... I don't know. I might just bite the bullet and either sit on stock with Amsoil and do the extra required paperwork to expense one oil change at a time even though the invoice isn't from the month being claimed. Or I might work a trip into their Greater Toronto Area depot into my travel plans as I need the oil since my gas is free.

I'll keep monitoring the sales and availability while I use up my stock and rack up the miles on the current fill and then decide. Why we seem to have inventory problems in the city I live in drives me nuts because we have multiple CTC / PartSource and Walmarts so you would think at least one of them would have stock.

Stevie, when you're buying at a Canadian Tire, check the online stock. The last time I bought oil from CT, the site claimed over sixty jugs at my location. I go there immediately, and there are none on the shelf. The parts manager was there, checked his computer, and found the exact same number I had seen online. So, he sent someone to go to the warehouse, grab some, and fill the shelf like it's supposed to be.

There's all kinds of Pennzoil on sale at CT right now; go for it!

In all seriousness, if you want M1, stop by a distributor in your many travels.

I have used Amsoil for the past 20 years. I have 3 vehicles, I have went back to Mobil 1 due to it is much cheaper with rebates. The shipping with Amsoil is tough to get over even in Minnesota where i get my order next day

I still continue to use Amsoil atf, gear oil and fuel additives which I think are the best in the industry.

Nice to know I'm not the only one thinking that way...
