You misunderstood my comment. I said I dont understand why I cant tow 1000lb with a sonata that has 200hp and large brakes. the same sonata can tow 3000 in Australia.
while I appreciate your input my snowblower is small.
it fits fine into any hatchback(I can lift it with 1 arm and the handle folds in half... And I have never seriously entertained thoughts of buying a Fullsize SUV/truck.
If I got an "suv" it would be more of the CUV/crossover variety like an equinox, sorrento,or forester not a truck based 20mpg model.
Previously test drives and comments:
mazda3s hatchback= no rear legroom-best manual transmission feel fun to drive.
tuscon- 5mt/2.0L model=hated it,
sportage 6mt/2.4.. liked it.. sporty handling for a box.
sonata 6mt 2.4gdi--like it if I was getting a sedan.. this was the most for the money..
Outback 6mt-- HORRID MT 1st way too tall. 2nd to close to first, pretty notchy shift feel.
Forester X 5mt-- liked this as much as anything else. Didnt like the x features.. I'm going to see what price I can get on an X premium.. if its around 23k.. I'll probably own one soon.
One of the best things about the forester is its available with MT and options.
to get any of the other cars except the mazda with a MT you had to get base model with NO options.
the forester is going to get a second look on friday.
