THe WHirlpool Duests I have are extremely well built. THe Washer has a huge COncrete Vibration dampner below the tub. Once on the pedastool and leveled it spins up no issue. (mine has been repaired once after the movers forgot to remove the shipping screws after setting it up and tried to run it) SOme new shock absorbers under the tub and it has been reliable since. I have moved it twice myself since then.

I would buy them again but instead of the bland grey we got we may try some color next time when or if these wear out.

Thanks for the replies everyone, We will definitely check out the whirlpool's.

The vibration thing is a good point, and not to hijack the thread, but it is relevant here. Ours sometimes will vibrate on the high speed spin, but not every time, and since ours does it twice, not necessarily both times per load (in fact, Im pretty sure it does it only once per load if at all.

Ive leveled it with a torpedo level and a longer one to make sure we were really on, no dice. I think it is the way the clothes combine together to create a mass on one side of the tub.

Any thoughts/suggestions? May be useful for FL washing machine folks.

That makes me feel confident.
