I'm pretty sure LM says you have to run the engine for a while to get the MOS2 deposited on the engine surfaces. His tests were of no value. Member Clevy sung the virtues of this product in small engines enough to convince me I needed it.

Where has it been claimed mos2 increases film strength?
we all know everything today is done to a price point!! so costly additives are limited or cheaper ones used in their place. most of us are NOT pro oil blenders so if you want better oils by them!! Redline always comes to mind being one of the very FEW REAL synthetics on the market today. although rarely on the shelf it can be quickly bought on-line as i do. i recently changed out all cheap OE lubes in my 11 nissan frontier to Redline + am seeing about 4 mpg's better!!!!
