anyone ever had berliner wiesse? it's very different. lambics are very good.
I like dopple bock, celebrator and spaten optimator are my favorites.

I just stick with Natural Light. It tastes fine to me and its priced right.

Actually those unhopped robo beers are ok with sashimi. I like the Asahi, and have duped it once using like 10% rice or something...

How is Red Stripe fresh? I believe I've only had "old has been" bottles. (Beer really doesn't travel well)
Some beers travel better than others, strong Belgian ales for example where yeast is added to the bottle just before capping or corking, many of these beers actually improve with some age. In my beer cellar "dark cool basement floor"I have found that beers in the 8%+ range seem to age the best.
that's because i haven't tasted a japanese beer yet that actually tastes good.
Anyone tried Bluemoon or Sunshine? Two excellent wheat beers. Oh so good with a nice slice of lemon, but for some reason, Bluemoon tastes funky the warmer it gets (more so than other beers), so it must be ice cold.
Bert Grant beers is excellent also. his perfect porter is really close to being perfect. on his wheat beer it claimed "my beer gives flavor to the lemon, not the other way around."

I totally agree! After a hot days work, I'd rather not have a Guiness Stout. Bla. They don't call cheap light beer "lawnmower" beer for nothin. It has it's place.quote:
