Latest HOA crazyness

My truck is parked so passenger door is near property line. I walk over to get something out and my dog follows me. She takes 5 or 6 steps and is 6" over property line onto neighbors grass. I get an email from neighbor saying he will call animal control.

At this point I just ignore the email.
Let your neighbor call Animal Control, they will laugh at him. I hate to say this, but I will, if he really has a problem, he should confront you about the situation. Your neighbor is doing this because he is afraid of you, the only way Animal Control comes out is if a Dog or Animal attacks somebody.

Pull GIS for his lot. The first 10 feet from the street are typically an easement or right of way. Of course it jurisdiction dependent - but would be good to know in your case.

Is the street county owned, or does the HOA actually own it?

This was a side property line. The HOA owns the first 15 feet from the street in. Then it's the homeowners property.

My dog is old too. So is my neighbor’s. She walks on our lawn at times- and it’s no big deal. It’s just grass.

I’d rather have cool neighbors.

My next step would have been parking my tires 6” on the lawn and give them something to really scream about…

Sounds to me that you should have bought a house on a bigger lot.
The neighbor next to me has issues with people on both sides of him with me being one. And neighbor on other side has a hedge. He called the State Police on that neighbor saying he cut some string marking the property boundary.

Why is your neighbor so uptight about your dog on their property?
Do you really need to park so close to their property?

Do you really need to park so close to their property?
My first thought was he's parked on the street and it's presumably a public street so he can park anywhere he wants, including directly in front of the neighbor's house. Then I thought he's parked in his own driveway and his dog just wandered through the yard next to it.

Kick them rocks down the road....all the **** rocks! Not a surprise this A has issues with both side neighbors.

Sounds like driveway is near property line so he’s most likely parking in his driveway and then is really close.

This is a property boundary issue and if he wants to make a big deal about it, let him do that at a hearing. I'm sure when he had to act like a clown in public he would be unlikely to take the opportunity.

I know those things. I suspect the neighbor already had a beef with OP and doesnt care.

That this bothered the guy and that he sent you an email rather than coming out to talk with you indicates that he is a punk.
Also, as has often been said, I've never met a good man who didn't love dogs.
