Junkyard employee rant

I don't go to a junkyard expecting them to know interchanges that aren't listed in a reference or providing me advice on what to fix.

I do expect the person behind the counter to be able to identify the part I am buying.

Whenever I go to a junkyard, I do my research ahead of time to see what *may* work. I'm pretty sure most junkyard employees don't know you can put a front axle from a 1984 Cherokee into a 2006 Wrangler.

Sounds like a standard day in the junkyards around here.

but he works at a junkyard for crying out loud.

My guess is that there is probably a valid reason for that.
