Owners advised to park outside until fix is issued.
Better safe than sorry, even more so with a full EV where putting out a fire can be a real nightmare. As I've said before, over the past 5-10 years, there are more manufacturers WITH this type of recall than without.
~1% catch fire, 100% get recalled.
1% is a huge failure rate! 1,000ppm? 10ppm is a pretty big deal…As I've said before, over the past 5-10 years, there are more manufacturers WITH this type of recall than without.

1% would be 320 fires. I'd hate to be in that group. As I've said before, over the past 5-10 years, there are more manufacturers WITH this type of recall than without.

1% for a trim piece failing off, or a radio dying, ok big deal. Catching fire though?
