Why would you need a flag if it's on your property? It's the drivers problem if they trespass.

The trespassers could be rescuers, LEOs in pursuit, or other people who have to have access to your property in an emergency. You may also become a victim of your own doing.

Leno's injury laywyers need to go after the idiot that put up cables with no visible indicators or warnings where the public can enter.

Accidents happen. At the very least Jay is doing what he loves to do. It's better to ask for forgiveness than for permission IMO. Jay is probably asking for neither.

Whoever put the unmarked cable across the road is negligent and at fault, and should be held responsible for any damages, medical bills, etc and sued by Leno's lawyers.
