That is insanely expensive. Unless that is a typo and you meant 1000/1000 which is 1 GB service.
I just ordered internet service at our soon to be new house and 1gb service is $77.95 /on special for $67.95
But I still declined and took 250/250 for $57.95 not on special price when we move in later this month.

Spectrum in my current location is $74.95 maybe $79.95 for 300/300 or 250/250 once the one year special of $50 expires

You're right, alarmguy, I made a mistake there. The lowest tier is 500/500. The $85 post introductory price was what the customer service person told me in a text chat.

One thing that’s saved us some money is taking advantage of all possible discounts. Fios gives a military discount, which includes veterans, that shaves $10 per month off the tier I have. So I think the regular price of my tier is $74.99 for 500/500, but with auto pay and the military discount it’s $54.99. I think I could downgrade to the 300/300 plan for $34.99 per month and will probably do so when some of my kids move out…

It's a hotspot (Netgear Nighthawk).

I don't pay for dsl or fiber.
