Inexpensive watch recommendations

I got it around 1984, the crown at 4 o'clock and bracelet. IIRC it had no manual winding, I do miss that one.

That's essentially the original from 1963, I think. A classic. No hacking, no handwinding.

@StumblingElk Here's another suggestion, two of Seiko's sub-brands: Alba and Lorus. I've heard of Lorus but didn't know it was a sub-brand of Seiko. I've never heard of Alba before but this is one beautiful watch, with a titanium case and a sapphire crystal. And cheap too.

I buy a cheap Casio diver's style watch from Ebay or Walmart . $30 bucks or so . Lasts for years and keeps time like a Rolex , or better .

I set my watches by the atomic clock. By the time DST rolls around my old Casio Duro is off by less than 1 minute. Not bad for a $50 watch. My old Seiko5 is my favorite automatic and a Barton silicone band Is so comfortable I forget I’m even wearing a watch. Both for about $100.

Got a 20 buck Berus watch at Wal Mart 15 years ago....Still have use it and it still works great...
