Hyundai/Kia OEM Filter (26300-35505) No Longer Made By Mann? Quality?

It doesn't confirm your wishfull thinking claim at all. In fact the contrary.
Spedestrian's OF says M&H, die OP's doesn't.
That said, both say 'Korea' and may mean South K or North K.

.
I have stock of Hyundai 03, 04, 05 filters. With date codes from 2013 (!!) to 2023. Sloppy stock control on my part, but still very usable.

All say Mann+Hummel, made in Korea, with plastic seal, "H" logo in center, boxes. 03 and 04 came with crush washers.

Korea means South Korea. There is so little imported from North Korea (DPRK), it is beyond belief that anyone even mentions it.

Do you think H/K with all it's manufacturing power and prestige would even consider selling items made in North Korea?

Whenever it starts Democratic People's Republic of ................. you see what follows.

Wrong, It's made by Young Duong In South Korea. I've already spelled it out that it may not be M&H so nice try to discredit me. read the posts your late to party.

Nothing new. The actual question is where the OP's filter could come from.
His oil filter just says 'Korea' only, no 'M&H' printing, noticeably cheapisher
printing compared to all the filters shown in this thread with a 'M&H' print.

If 'fantastic' is right? Maybe or maybe not, but his assertiveness is what is
a bit hard to bear. His tendency to some bending other postings matches
to that.

Yes, seems to be somewhat mysterious exactly where the OP's filter came from due to the visible differences. Who knows where RockAuto gets all their stuff. And the holographic sticker on the dome is a twist. Maybe the OP's filter is an older version, or a version typically not sold through dealerships in the USA … ??

I mistakenly thought it was the same filter but we now know that not to be the case. However, you're the one still claiming that it may be made in North Korea. This post has already developed that not to be true & that OP's filter is made in South Korea. I evolved my position as new evidence was posted. Surely you've seen the others post's & not just mine that confirms that to be correct or do you still think it's made in NK?

I said:

Probably 'Made in NORTH Korea'. Guess there's a reason why it doesn't say 'Made in South Korea' . . . .

"Probably" to be exact. And furthermore:

Maybe but I don't think so. OP told "sloppy white lettering, the Hyundai logo poorly stamped
on the bypass valve, and the excess glue on the inside"
before. Why so if it still came from
Mann's South Korean factory?

This post has already developed that not to be true & that OP's filter is made in South Korea.

We practice a different reading apparently.

I evolved my position as new evidence was posted.

Great!

Interesting filter. I really don't think North Korea is in play? If so, I wouldn't buy anything coming out of that country. Ever.

I'm with KCJeep. Maybe China? Counterfit?

Maybe just old stock or not for reasale made filter.
