Our 1 st hummer earliest war 4/10 put a feeder out this morning 6 pm saw our first. Put out one feeder. Middle of Missouri center of the state 35 miles from Arkansas

I miss putting up my feeder. Too afraid that the feral cats my wife has collected will get them.

Been watching the hummer migration map. Not to Michigan yet but on their way!

We don't have any yet this year. Have every other year. Seems like they should be here by now - coastal South Carolina. I guess I have been missed? Maybe one will come later. Last few years it seemed we had a single, and they defended the feeder?

My wife is patiently waiting. Still too early for SW Colo but she put out a single feeder last week "just in case". In full swing she'll fill 15 feeders at least once a day -- could do more but she's trying to be reasonable, ya know.....

4/27 First Oreo shown up. Set out a orange liquid feeder with grape jelly dish below it. We normally they come the first 10 days in may. The earliest was 4/24.

We are lucky to have a number of them congregating at our place. Amazing tiny creatures.

During the last 2 months they are consuming 1-3 feeders of liquid per day at this stage sometimes seating 6 at the "table".

We have to buy lots of sugar to keep them fed.

They will land in the wife's hand holding the feeder in a very Snow White type moment.
