How to store filters with no box?

I use an ammo box, you can get them at a military surplus store or local Harbor Freight. The 50 caliber ammo cans are about 5-1/2" inside with to store my filters in (boxed or unboxed) with some packets of silica gel. The ammo box has an air tight seal gasket. Make sure the seal gasket is in good condition and sealing before getting one at Harbor Freight, some of the Vietnam made ones don't seal all around the lip of the can.

I fill half way with oil and place in umbrella bag you find at front entrance of supermarket.

I tie a knot so no moisture from air.
