New one is over $300, and used ones are $100-$200. Just the lip of the housing is broken off so inside is still dry. Any clear plastic repair product to fill that gap? I was thinking clean silicone sealant maybe.

Not spending 15% of what I paid for the car on just a light that works fine but has a cosmetic flaw.
I used silicone caulk on my Fiesta when the edge of the taillight broke. It seemed to work OK.

The volume key can activate the camera shutter on some cell phones, so one-handed is no problem.
Well don't you have to activate the volume key with one hand while holding the camera with the other? How is that better?
New one on me. Don't remember that in the owners manual.
Not all cell phones have that feature. Some cell phones, you say a keyword and it takes a picture. For example my wife has a Samsung and she says cheese and it snaps a picture if the camera app is open.
Nope. Millions of Fusions sold and taillights more subject to damage than this one on top of the car.

Take your dremel and smooth and straighten the broken edges then go to the pick and pull and get a cheap clear marker lense off anything and cut a piece to fit and super glue it in.
Filled in with silicone sealant. Looks good enough.
